Con este accesorio las sillas del grupo 2-3 de JANE pueden usarse como grupo 1 (para niños de 9 a 18Kg). · Xtend ha superado las exigentes pruebas de seguridad de la directiva Europea ECE 44/04 para grupo 1 con las siguientes sillas: Montecarlo Montecarlo Plus Momo Racing INDY team INDY team Plus Superguard · Para mejorar la seguridad del niño, su protector abdominal Xtend dispone de: · Material absorbente de impactos. · Tapizado extraíble para ser lavado. · Canales de aireación desde la parte frontal. · Acolchado extra. español 7 · Para mejorar el confort y su adaptabilidad al niño, su protector abdominal Xtend dispone de: INSTRUCCIONES GENERALES Con el fin de proteger adecuadamente al niño y, asegurar su confort y sujeción dentro del automóvil será necesario que respete las siguientes instrucciones: · El asiento con protector abdominal ha sido diseñado para ser instalado en los asientos traseros o delanteros del automóvil, siempre que dispongan de cinturones de tres puntos y no tengan conectado un AIR-BAG frontal. Aun así, aconsejamos que se instale siempre que sea posible en las plazas traseras, ya que así se consigue la máxima seguridad. · Es válido sólo para automóviles dotados con cinturones automáticos de tres puntos de anclaje, homologados según el reglamento ECE-16 u 8 XTEND otras normas equivalentes. NO usar con un cinturón de dos puntos de anclaje, es muy peligroso en caso de frenada brusca o accidente. · En algunos automóviles la cinta de la hebilla del cinturón se halla en una posición muy avanzada, de manera que puede quedar en contacto con el canto del asiento elevador, siendo esta situación no segura. En este caso, pruebe a adelantar el asiento o a instalarlo en otro asiento. · No todos los sistemas de seguridad son exactamente iguales, por lo que aconsejamos que compruebe el protector abdominal Xtend en el automóvil que vaya a ser montado. · Es muy importante no utilizar productos de segunda mano, ya que JANÉ, S.A. sólo puede garantizar la total seguridad en artículos usados por su primer comprador. · JANÉ, S.A. recomienda sustituir el protector abdominal Xtend por uno nuevo, cuando haya sido sometido a violentas tensiones después de un accidente. · El protector abdominal Xtend está concebido para ser usado en el automóvil, por lo que no se debe usar fuera del mismo Para más información sobre el uso e instalación del protector abdominal Xtend consulte nuestra página www.jane.es. español 9 · Compruebe que todos los cinturones están en su correcta posición y debidamente ajustados a al niño. Vigile que ningún cinturón esté enroscado. Debe hacer entender al niño que bajo ningún concepto debe manipular los cinturones o los enganches del mismo. Instalando Su Protector Abdominal Xtend En El Automóvil. Al poner al niño de nuevo en el asiento, vigile que ninguna cinta esté enroscada o fuera de sitio y que ésta quede plana sobre el área de guía de cinturones. ATENCIÓN · No deje nunca al niño solo. · Cualquier alteración o adición al dispositivo sin la oportuna autorización de JANE, S.A. puede alterar gravemente la seguridad del sistema de retención. · No seguir cuidadosamente las instrucciones para el correcto uso del sistema de retención puede ser peligroso para la seguridad del niño. · Este dispositivo de seguridad no puede ser usado sin su tapizado, ni ser reemplazado por otro que no sea el original, ya que éste forma parte integrante de las características de seguridad del sistema. · No recline el asiento cuando está en uso. Para reclinar o enderezar su asiento elevador, deberá ajustar la longitud del cinturón. Realice esta operación con el automóvil parado. · Sólo se puede utilizar este sistema de retención en combinación con un elevador con respaldo de la categoría o grupo 2-3 del grupo JANÉ. XTEND 12 MANTENIMIENTO · No exponga el tapizado al sol durante largos periodos, mientras el protector no esté en uso cúbralo o guárdelo en el compartimiento porta equipajes. · Lave las partes de plástico con agua templada y jabón, secando posteriormente todos los componentes concienzudamente. · El tapizado puede desmontarse para ser lavado.
