DO NOT pull on the cord. · Always use on a dry, level surface. · The fan should not be operated without its column and base fitted. · The fan should not be operated laying on its side. · This product is intended for household use ONLY and not for commercial or industrial applications. · Should the fan stop working, first check the fuse in the plug (UK only) or fuse/circuit breaker at the distribution board is operating, before contacting the manufacturer or service agent. · If the supply cord or plug is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazard. Remote Control: Remote Control requires 1 lithium cell button battery for operation, with characteristics CR2025, 3v. There is a slot on the back of the unit (Refer to Fig. 2) to store the remote when not in use. A. Power Press Press B. Speed Settings Press = On, Off 3. Secure Power Cord (G) as shown in Fig.6. I C. Timer Control Press cycles through the fan speed settings . = Turns Off in 2, 4, 8 hours CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE · Always unplug the fan before cleaning or assembly. · Do not allow water to drip on or into the fan motor housing. The manufacturer reserves the right to change or modify any specifications without notice. FITTING A REPLACEMENT PLUG FOR U.K. AND IRELAND ONLY. If the plug is not suitable for the socket outlets in your home, it can be removed and replaced by a plug of the correct type. For correct type and correct installation please refer to "Installation of a plug" below. INSTALLATION OF A PLUG ­ Applicable to U.K. and Ireland. The wires in this mains lead are coloured as such: BROWN BLUE Live Neutral This product is fitted with 13 amp plug. The fuse should be rated at 3 amps and ASTA approved to BS1362 standard. However if the plug is not in accordance with this, please remove and follow the below installation details: · The BROWN coloured wire must be connected to the pin terminal, which is marked with the letter L (Live) or is coloured RED. · The BLUE coloured wire must be connected to the pin erminal which is marked with the letter N (Neutral) or is coloured BLACK. · DO NOT CONNECT either of these wires to the earth terminal in the plug. The earth terminal plug is marked with the letter E ( ) or is coloured GREEN, or GREEN&YELLOW. NOTE: If you are in any doubt about wiring and the installation of the plug. Please contact a qualified electrician. If a 13A 3-pin plug is fitted, it must be an ASTA approved plug, conforming to the BS1363 standard. Schrauben (4 Groß) J. Schrauben (2 Klein) MONTAGEANLEITUNG (Siehe Abb. 5 und 6) 1. Setzen Sie die beiden Sockelhälften (F) um das Leitungskabel (G) unter Verwendung von 2 Schrauben (J) zusammen. Siehe Abb. 5. 2. Zusammengesetzten Standfuß mit 4 Schrauben (I) am Ventilatorgehäuse (H) befestigen. Siehe Abb. 5. BEDIENUNGSANLEITUNG (Siehe Abb. 2 bis 4) 3 amp 3.
