DO NOT pull on the mains cable. · Always use on a dry, level surface. · Do not operate without the fan grills properly in place. · This product is intended for household use ONLY and not for commercial or industrial applications. · Should the appliance stop working, first check the fuse in the plug (UK only) or fuse/circuit breaker at the distribution board is operating, before contacting the manufacturer or service agent. · If the supply cord or plug is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazard. · · · · · The appliance contains no user serviceable parts and should the product suffer damage or breakdown it must be returned to the manufacturer or its service agent. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Please see pictures on inside cover pages (Fig. 1 - 12) 1. Assembly requires the use of a Phillips head screwdriver and wrench. 2. In Figure 7, insert Bolt (D) and attach Screw (K). Thread Tilt Adjustment (E) onto the end of (D). Secure Locking Screw (J) last. 3. Before proceeding with Figure 11, remove the protective sleeve from the motor shaft. 4. In Figure 12, there are 2 indentations in the Grill Ring (T). Make sure that the rear grill sits in the rear indentation and the Clip (W) is positioned at the bottom of the grill. Slide the bottom of the Front Grill (S) into the front indentation of the Grill Ring. Working from the bottom, snap the Front Grill into the Grill Ring. Verify that the grills fit evenly into the indentations in the Grill Ring and tighten Screw (U). OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS (See Fig 1A & 1) Speed Control (X) = 0 - Off I - Low II - Med III - High ADJUSTMENT INSTRUCTIONS Tilt Adjustment Loosen Tilt-Adjustment Knob (E), move fan head to desired angle, and tighten Tilt Adjustment Knob (E) to lock in place. Height Adjustment Loosen Pole Locking Knob (F), adjust Pole (G) to desired height, and tighten Pole Locking Knob (F) to lock in place. Oscillation Adjustment Press, Pull Oscillation (Y) = start, stop CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE · Always unplug the fan before cleaning. · Do not allow water to drip on or into the fan motor housing. FITTING A REPLACEMENT PLUG FOR U.K. AND IRELAND ONLY If the plug is not suitable for the socket outlets in your home, it can be removed and replaced by a plug of the correct type. Please refer to "Installation of a plug" below. Installation of a plug Applicable to U.K. and Ireland. WARNING - THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED. The wires in the mains lead are coloured as such: GREEN AND YELLOW - EARTH BROWN - LIVE BLUE - NEUTRAL Please note that the colour of these mains wires may not correspond with the colour markings that identify the terminals in your plug. Please proceed as follows: The wire which is coloured GREEN AND YELLOW must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter 'E' or by the earth symbol or coloured GREEN AND YELLOW. The BROWN coloured wire must be connected to the terminal, which is marked with the letter "L" or is coloured RED. The BLUE coloured wire must be connected to the terminal, which is marked with the letter "N" or is coloured BLACK. Appelez le 0 825 85 85 82 pour obtenir de l'assistance. CONSIGNES D'ASSEMBLAGE Veuillez vous référer aux images figurant sur l'intérieur des pages de couverture (Figures 1 à 12) 1. Pour assembler l'appareil, vous avez besoin d'un tournevis cruciforme et d'une clef. 2. Insérez le boulon (D) et serrez la vis (K). Attachez le bouton d'ajustement de l'inclinaison (E) à l'extrémité de (D), puis attachez la vis de verrouillage (J) (figure 7). 3. Avant de passer à la figure 11, retirez l'emballage protecteur de l'axe du moteur. 4. Il existe 2 encoches sur l'anneau de la grille (T) (figure 12). Insérez la grille de derrière dans l'encoche de derrière et placez l'attache (W) en bas de la grille. Faites glisser le bas de la grille de devant (S) dans l'encoche de devant. En commençant par le bas, mettez la grille de devant bien en place dans l'anneau de la grille. Assurez-vous que les grilles sont positionnées uniformément dans les encoches de l'anneau de la grille et serrez la vis (U). CONSIGNES D'UTILISATION (Voir les figures 1A & 1) Réglage de la vitesse (X) = 0 - Arrêt I - Lente II - Moyenne III - Rapide CONSIGNES D'AJUSTEMENT Ajustement de l'inclinaison Desserrez le bouton d'ajustement de l'inclinaison (E), positionnez la partie supérieure du ventilateur à l'angle souhaité, puis serrez le bouton (E) pour le verrouiller. Ajustement de la hauteur Desserrez le bouton de verrouillage du pied (F), ajustez le pied (G) à la hauteur souhaitée, puis serrez le bouton de verrouillage du pied (F) pour le verrouiller.
