Pass the manual on to whomsoever might acquire the scale at a later date. · · For reasons of safety, do not open the Ice Crusher casing under any circumstances. Failure to comply with this instruction renders the warranty null and void. Disconnect the Ice Crusher from the mains soon after use. Only when you unplug the appliance is it completely safe. Safety Instructions · Danger of injuries! Do not allow individuals (including children) to use the appliance whose physical, sensorial or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge hinder their safe usage of it if they have not previously been supervised or instructed in its correct usage. Tell children about the appliance and its potential dangers so that they do not play with it. Never inset objects or your fingers into the filling shaft. This is can cause injuries, as the cutters may be rotating inside. Danger of electrical shock! · Connect the Ice Crusher to a properly installed power socket with a mains voltage of 230 V/50 Hz. In case of malfunctioning or before you decide to clean the Ice Crusher unplug the appliance from the power socket. Do not attempt to immerse the Ice Crusher in any liquid and ensure that liquids do not seep into the casing of the Ice Crusher. · Do not expose the appliance to humidity and do not use it outdoors. If by chance liquids do enter into the casing, unplug the appliance from the power socket immediately and have it repaired by a qualified technician. Never touch the Ice Crusher, power cord or plug with wet hands. To unplug the power cord, always pull out the plug from the socket and do not pull at the cord itself. Do not crease or crimp the power cord and place the power cord in such a way to prevent anyone from stepping or tripping over it. Arrange for defective power plugs and/or cables to be replaced as soon as possible by a qualified technician or by our Customer Service Department to avoid the risk of injury. · · · · Fire hazard Do not operate the Ice Crusher for more than 10 minutes. Thereafter, switch it off for 2 minutes to allow it to cool down to prevent overheating. Attention · Do not clean the components of the Ice Crusher in a dishwasher, as this may damaged them. · · Technical Data Mains voltage: Power rating: Volume of collecting vessel: CO Time: 230 V/50 Hz 60 W 600 ml 10 Minutes · · -3- CO Time The CO Time (Continuous Operation Time) details how long an appliance can be operated without the motor overheating and becoming damaged. After the appliance has run for this period it must be switched off until the motor has cooled itself down. Injury hazard: Never insert objects or your fingers into the filling shaft. This is can cause injuries, as the cutters may be rotating inside. Connect the power cord plug to the mains. Press the ON/OFF switch 6 and allow the appliance to run for a few seconds, before you fill in ice cubes. Remove the lid 1. Place an ice cube over the filling shaft flap 2. Pull the lever 7 until the ice cube falls into the grinder. Place the lid 1 back into position and hold it firmly on the top. If the ice cube is crushed, repeat the operation with the next ice cube. Proper Use The Ice Crusher is exclusively meant for crushing ice into small bits for home use only. The Ice Crusher is not intended for commercial use. In such a case ... switch the Ice Crusher off and unplug the cord. Remove excessive ice or wait till the ice is melted and the grinder assembly is defrosted. · When the collecting vessel 5 is full ... Operation Before you use the Ice Crusher for the first time, remove all packing material and make sure that all accessories are present. draw out the collecting vessel 5 and remove the crushed ice using the ice shovel 4. Cleaning Danger of electrical shock Before you clean the Ice Crusher, unplug the appliance from the power socket. Never dip the appliance in water while cleaning or hold it under running water. Fire hazard: Never exceed the maximum operating duration of 10 minutes. Allow the appliance to cool down for 2 minutes before switching it on again. -4- Attention Do not clean the components of the Ice Crusher in a dishwasher, as this may damaged them. Do not use any abrasive detergents or brushes to clean the appliance; such material can damage the surface. Unplug the power cord from the socket. Clean the outer surface of the casing with a soft, damp cloth. Clean the rest of the attachments under flowing water and dry them well with a dry cloth. Warranty & Service The warranty for this appliance is for 3 years from the date of purchase. The appliance has been manufactured with care and meticulously examined before delivery. Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the case of a warranty claim, please make contact by telephone with our service department. Only in this way can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured. The warranty covers only claims for material and manufacturing defects, not for wearing parts or for damage to fragile components. This product is for private use only and is not intended for commercial use. The warranty is void in the case of abusive and improper handling, use of force and internal tampering not carried out by our authorized service branch. Annetun LK-ajan jälkeen laite on kytkettävä pois päältä niin pitkäksi aikaa, että moottori on jäähtynyt. Loukkaantumisvaara: Älä koskaan työnnä esineitä tai sormiasi täyttökuiluun. Pyörivät terät aiheuttavat loukkaantumisvaaran. Aseta verkkopistoke pistorasiaan. Paina virtakytkintä 6 ja anna laitteen käydä joitakin sekunteja, ennen kuin lisäät jääkuutiot. Nosta kansi 1 pois. Aseta jääkuutio täyttökuilun läpän 2 päälle. Vedä vivusta 7, kunnes jääkuutio putoaa myllyyn. Aseta kansi 1 taas takaisin ja pidä siitä tiukasti kiinni. Kun jääkuutio on murskautunut, toista toimenpide uudella jääkuutiolla. Määräystenmukainen käyttö Jäämurskainta saa käyttää ainoastaan pienten jäämäärien murskaamiseen. Se on tarkoitettu vain yksityiseen kotitalouskäyttöön. Ei saa käyttää yritystoiminnassa. Laitteen kuvaus/pakkauksen sisältö 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Vihje: Jos jäätä on liikaa, mylly saattaa juuttua tai jäätyä. Tällaisessa tilanteessa ... kytke virta pois jäämurskaimesta ja irrota pistoke pistorasiasta. Poista ylimääräinen jää tai odota, kunnes jää ja mylly sulavat. Käyttö Ota laite pakkauksestaan ja poista kaikki pakkaussuojat ennen käyttöönottoa. Tarkista, että pakkauksessa on kaikki luetellut osat. Puhdistus Sähköiskun vaara! Ennen kuin alat puhdistaa jäämurskainta, irrota aina pistoke pistorasiasta. Puhdistamisen aikana laitetta ei missään tapauksessa saa kastaa veteen tai pitää juoksevan veden alla. Tulipalovaara: Älä koskaan ylitä 10 minuutin enimmäiskäyttöaikaa. Anna laitteen jäähtyä kaksi minuuttia, ennen kuin kytket sen uudestaan toimintaan. -8- Huomaa! Jäämurskaimen osia ei saa pestä astianpesukoneessa, sillä ne vahingoittuvat. Älä käytä puhdis-tukseen hankaavia pesuaineita tai metallisia sieniä, sillä ne voivat vahingoittaa laitteen pintoja. Vedä verkkopistoke pistorasiasta. Puhdista laitteen ulkopinnat kostealla, pehmeällä liinalla. Puhdista muut osat juoksevan veden alla ja kuivaa ne hyvin kuivalla liinalla. Takuu & huolto Laitteen takuu on 3 vuotta ostopäivästä. Laite on valmistettu huolellisesti ja tarkistettu tarkasti ennen toimitusta. Säilytä ostokuitti todisteeksi takuun voimassaolosta. Ota takuutapauksessa puhelimitse yhteyttä huoltopisteeseenne. Vain näin voidaan taata tuotteesi maksuton lähettäminen huoltoon. Takuu koskee ainoastaan materiaali- ja valmistusvirheitä, ei kuitenkaan kuluvia osia tai herkästi vaurioituvien osien, esim. kytkinten tai akkujen vaurioita.
